Is the best router for gaming actually a gaming router? We set out to test Wi-Fi router latency and prove whether gaming routers actually reduce latency more than any other router.

These test should be done in an apartment in real life situation and not really in a lab test
I do gaming on N300 2.4 GHz single band router, All you need is an Ethernet Cable & QOS Settings on your router. 😂
where is bufferbloat test?
my tmobile 5g router gets really bad ping.
While its somewhat true that no such thing as gaming router as its just a hardware with software and its more like an marketing gimmick. Though newer and better routers have better buffer bloat for ethernet as well as newer drivers though its so small that its not so important.
But for people who do rely on wifi/wireless then the router does matter and only some wifi routers of every gen have low bufferbloat and because we are on wifi-7 the Asus GT-BE19000AI, Asus GT-BE98Pro, and the TP-Link BE800.
